About Alexander
I am a 2nd Year Arts student at Monash, majoring in both History and Indigenous Studies. I graduated from Woodleigh School with an ATAR of 86.40, with a study score of 39 in both History and English. I am hoping to complete a Master's of Education following my undergraduate course.
Although I have not tutored before, I have relevant experience in coaching sports through Woodleigh School and being a qualified surf instructor for Salty Surf School.
I am easy-going, patient and easy to talk to!

Due to my lack of experience, I would be better suited towards tutoring younger year levels as I have a great grasp of writing skills built throughout my time at both High School and University.
My teaching methods have been built through my time at Woodleigh and Salty Surf School, in which independence is furthered as students are allowed to find solutions to problems in their own way. As such, this requires patience on my part, allowing myself to step back when necessary as to allow students to come to their own conclusions. I firmly believe this improves student confidence and their ability throughout tertiary education when assistance is less readily available.
