About MsAmira
Hello! My name is Ms. Amira, and I am your math teacher. I am a qualified and experienced teacher, and I love helping students understand math in a simple and fun way. I chose to be a teacher because I believe every student can learn and succeed when they are supported and encouraged. I enjoy seeing my students grow more confident, improve their skills, and feel proud of themselves. Math is not just about answers—it's about thinking, trying, and never giving up. In my class, it’s okay to make mistakes because mistakes help us learn. I am here to help you, support you, and make learning math enjoyable.

Teaching Techniques & Methodology
My lessons are student-centered and interactive. I use clear explanations, visual models, real-life examples, and guided practice to make math easy to understand. I adapt my teaching to suit different learning styles (visual, auditory, and hands-on learners). Continuous assessment is used during each lesson to check understanding, correct misconceptions, and build confidence.
Lesson Length
A typical lesson is 60 minutes, structured as follows:
Quick revision and warm-up
Explanation of the new concept
Guided practice and independent work
Short assessment and feedback
(45-minute lessons are also available for younger learners.)
Qualifications & Experience
I am a MOE-licensed teacher with experience teaching primary and upper primary students. I have strong knowledge of the British, American, IB (PYP), and MOE curricula. I am experienced in supporting students of different ability levels, including struggling learners, SEN students, and high achievers.
