About Livilla
I am a second year Modern Languages student at Newcastle University, studying Spanish and French specifically. I am a native English speaker with a high level of Spanish and French. I took both languages at GCSE and A-Level in the UK therefore I have a good understanding of the exam expectations. I also have experience in tutoring students preparing for their Spanish GCSE. I am very passionate about languages, so whether you are a complete beginner or preparing for your exams I would love to share my knowledge and help you improve your language skills!

My teaching method can be flexible depending on the student, however I usually find that the best way to learn a language is to first study the theory, then put it into practice as much as possible! For example I would provide the student with material and explanation on a topic, then set written exercises or carry out conversation practice. If you have certain areas which you would like to improve I am very happy to construct lessons accordingly. For younger learners I would also be happy to lead a lesson in a way I see suitable for their level and stage.
