About Khanyisa
I am a Mobile Application and Web Development graduate currently pursuing a Bachelor of Information Technology in Business Systems. My academic background has given me practical experience in programming, web development, problem-solving, and building real-world technology projects.
I enjoy helping others understand technical concepts in a simple and approachable way, especially when programming initially feels overwhelming. I am patient, organised, and committed to creating a professional and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I teach HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java, with a particular focus on beginners and students who want to strengthen their programming foundations.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students complete tasks, but to help them develop the confidence and understanding needed to solve problems independently.

My tutoring approach is practical, patient, and focused on helping students truly understand programming concepts rather than simply memorising code. I teach HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java using clear explanations, step-by-step examples, guided exercises, and small practical projects.
A typical lesson starts with identifying what the student already understands, followed by an explanation of the topic, practical coding examples, and exercises that allow the student to apply what they have learnt. I also encourage questions throughout the lesson and adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace and learning needs.
My lessons are mainly aimed at beginners, high school learners, college or university students, and anyone who wants to build a strong foundation in programming and web development.
I am able to teach primarily in English and can also communicate in Tsonga, Zulu, Tswana and Sotho where this helps a student understand concepts more comfortably.
As a Mobile Application and Web Development graduate currently pursuing a Bachelor of Information Technology, I bring both academic knowledge and practical project experience into my lessons.
