About Payal
I'm Payal, a pharmaceutical quality professional based in Dubai with an M.Sc. in Microbiology and industry experience at companies including Novartis, SGS Life Sciences, and Zydus.
Science has never just been academic for me, it's what I work with every day in a professional, regulated environment. That real-world perspective is something I bring directly into my teaching, helping students understand not just what the answer is, but why it matters.
I have 6 years of experience teaching science to students at college level in India, where I developed a structured, patient approach to breaking down complex topics. I understand where students get stuck and more importantly, how to get them unstuck before it costs them marks in an exam.
I'm based in Dubai, teach entirely online, and work with IGCSE Biology students across the UAE.
Outside the lab and the classroom, I'm a mother to a young child, which means I genuinely understand the pressure families feel around academic performance and I take that responsibility seriously.

I hold an M.Sc. in Microbiology and bring 7 years of pharmaceutical industry experience across GMP, quality systems, and scientific compliance, which means I don't just teach science, I apply it professionally every day.
My lessons are designed specifically for IGCSE Biology and Chemistry students (Years 10–11), with a sharp focus on exam technique, mark scheme logic, and past paper practice. Students who struggle with "knowing the content but losing marks" are exactly who I work best with.
Sessions run 90 minutes online, combining concept clarity in the first half with past paper application in the second. I adapt each session to where the student is losing marks, not a generic curriculum walkthrough.
Beyond my science background, I have 6 years of teaching experience with students at college level, which means I know how to break down complex topics without oversimplifying them.
My lessons are for students who want structured, targeted preparation — not just someone to sit with while they do homework.
