About Carlos
I am from Mexico City, and I live in U.K. I am a GP and working through the many steps towards becoming licensed to practise with the National Health Service. In the meantime I enjoy teaching those who are passionate about my native tongue and my culture and meeting new people online who are eager to learn a new language.

In a 1 hour lesson I will cover a variety of conversational topics, starting with the basics (where are you from, what is your name, what is your job etc). Expect to advance into subjects that cover past and future tenses as the student progresses (what did you do last week, who will you visit next year?) As a native Spanish speaker, I have helped students to improve their understanding of the language as well as how to construct sentences and make simple conversation with other Spanish speakers. In my lessons I lead beginner students through structured questions and answers that are typical of basic conversation. As students become more advanced, so do the topics of conversation - some sessions have felt like a catch up between friends (high level stuff!).
