About Emily
I am a medical student at HYMS and an experienced tutor with over 150 hours taught in the past 6 months. I am very dedicated to my students and I am excited to take on new students for the coming academic year. My specialties are GCSE and A Level Biology and Chemistry I also provide advice for medical applicants.

I run my lessons very exam question focussed as in my experience that is what works the best. I begin a typical lesson with going through a PowerPoint I have prepared before the lesson checking understanding and giving space for questions throughout we will then answer a couple questions at the end to learn technique. I also often exam question only sessions which have actually proved very popular with students, students that struggle to sit down and answer exam questions on their own find it particularly useful as the questions are picked out for them, marked instantly and given feedback on and there is someone there encouraging them to get them done. These styles have worked great in my previous experience but I adapt to each students needs as none are the same. I also provide homework if required and mark any work the student requires and this work is typically returned in 48 hours.
