About Chris
Hi! I'm a passionate Math tutor offering 1-on-1 support for students from Year 1–12, whether it's building confidence in the basics, or preparing for exams and the HSC.
I know that math can be overwhelming at times, so I focus on breaking topics down to clear, manageable steps, and encourage students to ask questions along the way. My goal is to help not only improve results, but for students to feel more confident and capable in math.
I have achieved Band 6s in HSC Math Ext1 (98) and Ext2 (92), and have years of experience privately tutoring both primary and secondary students. I am currently a medical student at the University of New England, and can offer flexible times for in-person and online tutoring to suit your learning.

Maths lessons offered as personalised 1-on-1 sessions, available in Armidale (at home or in a library) or online, depending on what suits you best. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, and can be extended for targeted support such as during exam periods.
Each lesson will be tailored to the student’s individual needs, whether that’s strengthening foundational skills, keeping up with schoolwork, or getting ahead of the curriculum. I provide targeted practice questions and step-by-step guidance to reinforce key concepts, focusing on building problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning.
Lessons can be structured alongside the school syllabus or adapted to focus on specific areas of difficulty, ensuring each student builds strong understanding and confidence in maths.
