About Anusha

As a medical student at Imperial, I have been through my fair share of exams, from GCSEs to A levels to multiple university entrance exams, and it is this experience that has allowed me to appreciate the difference between having knowledge versus knowing how to correctly apply it.

As the Love of Learning ambassador in my grammar school, I have explored various learning techniques with students, from retrieval practice to spaced learning and mindmaps.

Consequently, as a tutor, I hope to support my students as they understand what techniques work for them, whilst giving them all the tips and tricks and how to write answers that bag all the marks.

About the lesson

I teach GCSE - Maths, Chemistry and Biology
A Level - Maths, Chemistry and Biology
Length: 30 minutes - 1 hr

I like to gauge the level the student is working at through initial topic tests.
The focus of the first few lessons will then be to develop a secure understanding of all content.
Each lesson will contain a mixture of both learning and application, with a particular focus on exam technique and writing answers that cater to the mark scheme.
I am also happy to share all my online notes to supplement learning.

I have tutored multiple students, taking to time to understand their learning styles, and helping them create timetables that suit them.
