About Dr Asher
I am a medical graduate with distinction and a strong academic background in Biology, having achieved 3 A* and 1 A at A-Levels. I am deeply passionate about teaching Biology and helping students develop a clear and confident understanding of complex concepts.
With two years of experience in private tutoring, I have worked with both SPM and medical students, guiding them to strengthen their conceptual understanding and apply knowledge effectively in examinations. I believe in structured, engaging lessons that encourage active learning and critical thinking.

Lessons are conducted using clear, diagram-based explanations to help students understand complex biological concepts. Concept maps are used to simplify and organise difficult content, allowing students to see connections between ideas.
The main goal of each session is to strengthen students’ conceptual understanding so they can confidently apply their knowledge to challenging exam questions. Lessons also include exam-style question scenarios and active Q&A discussions, encouraging critical thinking and reinforcing understanding through guided practice.
