About Edmund
I graduated with a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering then proceeded to complete my service training in industry to become a technician.
I have always been curious and driven to how things work and how they can be improved.
I realised my passion for engineering did not have to be restricted to my work, where I noticed many people struggled with concepts that were based in Maths and Physics so I decided to pursue teaching to understand the different ways people learn. I completed my PGCE-FET in 2006 and then my MSc in 2014.
I have 20 years of industry experience in Mechanical/Marine Engineering and 20 years of teaching/lecturing experience at High School, TVET College and CPUT so know what is required for you to succeed in your studies.
