About Yousof
Hi, I’m Yousof, a mechanical engineering student in London.
I’ve always enjoyed Maths and Physics, and I studied Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A Level. Now I use them every day in my degree, designing and analysing real engineering problems. I’m also part of my university’s Formula Student team, where we design and build a racing car, so I get to see how the theory from the classroom works in practice.
I want to teach because I remember how it felt to be stuck on a topic that just wouldn’t click, and how much difference it made when someone explained it in a way that made sense. Having sat GCSE and A Level exams recently, I know the pressure students are under and what examiners are looking for.
I’m patient, reliable and well organised. I’ll always turn up prepared, and I’ll keep parents updated on progress if they’d like. My goal is simple: to help you understand the subject properly, feel confident in exams, and get the grade you’re aiming for.

A typical lesson runs for one hour:
Learn the content: I explain the topic clearly and step by step, using worked examples. I check you understand the “why”, not just the method.
Practice questions: You then work through exam-style questions, starting simple and building up to harder ones. I guide you when you get stuck rather than just giving the answer.
Exam technique: I use real past paper questions and mark schemes, so you learn how marks are awarded and how to set out answers to pick up every mark.
Recap: We finish by summarising the key points, and I can set a few questions to try before the next lesson if you’d like.
