I’m a Mechanical Design Engineer with over 7 years of industry experience in aerospace, automotive, and precision manufacturing. Holding a BSc (Hons) in Design Engineering, I specialise in tooling design, CAD modelling, and design-for-manufacture. My lessons focus on making engineering clear, practical, and engaging — linking classroom theory to real-world industry examples. I create a supportive environment that builds both understanding and confidence, helping students develop genuine problem-solving skills. I teach GCSE, A-Level, and university-level Engineering and Technology, as well as apprentices and early-career engineers looking to strengthen practical design skills.

Approach & Methodology: My teaching approach focuses on making engineering practical, engaging, and industry-relevant. I combine core theoretical understanding with real-world applications drawn from my 7+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, and precision manufacturing. Lessons are interactive, using examples from tooling design, CAD modelling, and problem-solving in production to help students connect academic concepts to real engineering practice. Teaching Techniques: I tailor each session to the learner’s level and goals — whether that’s exam preparation, coursework support, or developing design/CAD skills. I use diagrams, screen-sharing for CAD demonstrations, step-by-step design reasoning, and real engineering case studies. Students are encouraged to think critically and apply design principles to real problems. Lesson Length: Typical lessons last 60 minutes, though sessions can be extended for project or coursework guidance.
