About Thea
I’m Thea, I’m turning 20 in September and I’m currently studying to be a teacher. I never had an easy time at school, I fell behind constantly, couldn’t keep up with others and didn’t understand any of the content. My parents tried finding tutors for me but I often felt scared and nervous around them because I still wasn’t improving. I had to do it all on my own and there were times I thought I was going to fail. Now that I’m out of school I want to help others like me who feel behind or struggled to understand because the problem was never me, it was the way I was taught. I didn’t respond to the teaching style my teachers used but now I know I can help other young students thrive!
