About Zinhle
I am a patient and adaptable tutor who believes that mathematics does not have to be difficult or intimidating. I enjoy helping learners understand concepts by breaking them down into simple steps and connecting them to practical, real-life situations.
What prompted me to teach is my own appreciation for how differently people learn. I have always been a quick learner myself, but I understand that not everyone learns at the same pace. Some learners understand a concept immediately, while others need more time, repetition, encouragement and a different way of explaining it. I enjoy finding that approach and helping learners reach the point where they can say, “I understand this now.”
My teaching style is flexible and learner-focused. I do not believe in making a learner feel inadequate because they need more time. Instead, I create a comfortable environment where they can ask questions, make mistakes and learn at their own pace.
My goal is not only to help students get the correct answer, but to help them understand 'why' the answer is correct. I want my students to become more confident, independent and comfortable with mathematics.

My teaching method depends on the individual learner and the amount of time they need to understand a concept. I recognise that learners have different learning speeds and abilities. Some are fast learners who understand concepts quickly and may lose interest if something is explained repeatedly, while others require more patience, repetition and individual attention.
I therefore adapt my teaching approach to suit each learner. With learners who need more time, I spend additional time breaking the concept down into smaller, easier steps and encouraging them to ask questions without feeling pressured. When teaching mathematics, I also like to use practical, real-life scenarios to make abstract concepts easier to understand and demonstrate how mathematics applies to everyday situations.
My goal is not simply to complete the lesson, but to ensure that the learner genuinely understands the concept and independently work it out. I believe that effective teaching requires patience, flexibility and the ability to recognise what works best for each individual learner.
