About Miriam
I have recently finished my A Levels in Maths, Physics and IT as well as an AS in Further Maths. Much of my secondary education (and all of my primary) was spent at home. This freedom inspired my love of learning which I was able to focus during Sixth Form. Living in a big family has given me lots of experience with supporting younger learners as well as learning good communication and skills. I have spent the past year tutoring SEND students in maths and science. My passion to teach has grown as a result of my desire to learn and pass on this knowledge.

I believe every student can achieve given the right time and approach. I aim to inspire a love of learning and encourage my students to ask questions. Each session will be specifically tailored to the student, taking into account their level, exam board and individual needs. Our time together will begin with recall before focusing on learning new content or covering content the student needs particular support with. I carry out my sessions primarily online at the moment, however if you live nearby do get in touch.
