About Hannah
I have a very approachable and friendly personality and always try to create fun and engaging ways to help my tutees improve their mathematic ability and level of confidence. I am also very passionate about my studies and am a recent secondary school graduate so find it very easy to relate to the stress of GCSE exams, so within my tutoring sessions I like to make sure my tutees are equipped with the essential revision skills and knowledge in order to succeed in their exams!

Hi there!
My name is Hannah I am a 19 year old Gap Year Student and I am offering 1 hour online and in person Maths tutoring sessions.
I have over 2 years of experience tutoring kids of all abilities from KS2 to GCSE maths (both Foundation and Higher levels of GCSE maths). I also achieved an A* in A Level Maths last summer and a Grade 9 (equivalent to A**) in GCSE Maths and GCSE Further Maths in 2020.
During a typical first lesson, I aim to assess my tutee's maths ability by asking what topic they are currently learning and seeing their attempt at answering some questions of all level about that topic.
I also aim to understand what it is my tutee wants to gain out of these sessions; whether it be filling in the gaps of their knowledge, helping them prepare and revise for upcoming exams, solidifying current knowledge and building confidence in their ability, going above and beyond the current pace they are learning at in school or something else.
From then, I suggest to schedule in 1 or 2 1-hour tutoring sessions a week depending on their aims, time frame and availability.
