About Edwin
I have always enjoyed helping others learn and so throughout my education I have tried to offer assistance to as many others as I can.
In the last few years I have taught several people how to code and, more importantly, showed them the power and enjoyment of programming.
Last summer, I prepared and led introductory English and IT lessons to classes of 30 students for two months.
In high school I volunteered once a week as a teaching assistant for maths and science classes.

I am a second-year computer science student at Duke University in America. I have been practising data science since self-teaching aged 17 and am now involved in machine learning research. I am offering lessons covering everything from the basics of python programming and data wrangling to the implementation of state of the art machine learning techniques. Students with all levels of experience (including absolutely no programming knowledge) are welcome. My teaching approach emphasises interactivity through question asking and answering and focuses on familiarising students with popular environments and online resources so that they can move on to working on projects independently as soon as possible. Lessons are tailored towards a student's specific needs and requirements and strive to create a practical understanding of the most important concepts.
