About Miao
I'm a qualified structural engineer with over 10 years of experience working on bridges and transport infrastructure in Australia. I hold a Master's degree in Structural Engineering and am currently completing further postgraduate studies in Engineering Management at the University of Queensland. I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand math and physics, especially when students feel stuck or overwhelmed. I believe that anyone can improve with the right support, and I bring a calm, practical approach to tutoring that’s grounded in real-world problem-solving. I hold a current Blue Card and enjoy working with both high school and university students. I also understand how challenging it can be for students who speak English as a second language—having gone through that journey myself.
