About Samuel
I'm a twenty-something financial services professional with a lifelong commitment to learning. I tutored math at the University of Cape Town where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in the subject. I have recently begun tutoring for an established tutoring company called Turning Point Tutors where I received positive reviews from my students. I enjoy running, hiking, reading and spending time with friends on the tennis court.

My lessons focus on building on concepts in mathematics using live illustrations and an interactive style. I avoid the jargon that can come with a subject like math, preferring to make the content as transparent as possible for a given level of study. I enjoy seeing the understanding "click" once a student can make the mental connections needed to confidently take on a problem.
