About Brendon

I am a passionate and dedicated mathematics educator currently teaching at an independent school in London, with over three years of experience as Head of Maths and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. My journey in education has been driven by a genuine love for helping students unlock their potential and develop confidence in subjects they once found challenging.

About the lesson

I use a highly interactive approach where students spend 80% of lesson time actively practising, whilst I guide them through problems using leading questions rather than simply demonstrating solutions. This builds independence and develops critical problem-solving skills.

As an Edexcel Assessor, I bring insider knowledge of exam board expectations and mark schemes, helping students understand exactly what examiners are looking for and how to maximise marks.

My lessons are ideal for students who need structured support, exam preparation, confidence building, or have SEN needs. Whether your child is working towards grade improvement or aiming for top grades, I tailor my approach to their specific goals and current attainment level.
