My Teaching Method and Techniques
As an ESL teacher, I use a student-centered and communicative approach. I believe students learn English best when they have opportunities to listen, speak, read, and write in meaningful situations. A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up conversation or review of the previous lesson. I then introduce the target vocabulary, grammar, or language skill for the day. I provide clear explanations and examples before guiding the student through practice activities.
The student then applies what they have learned through conversation, reading, writing, role-playing, or real-life communication activities. At the end of the lesson, I review the key points, check the student’s understanding, give feedback, and suggest areas to practice before the next session.
