About Simon
I am Simon Kgomo, a graduate Electrical Engineer based in Cape Town with a passion for mathematics and sciences. My story began in Grade 12 where my average mark for maths and science was 30% from the previous year, and yet I knew i needed to matriculate with distinctions in the two subjects no matter what. I asked for help from one of the top achievers, how he was able to explain to me made me realize the simplicity of mathematics, after which I applied my efforts to matriculate with 88% and 98% in maths and physcal sciences respectively. I went on to Ace all my 1st year engineering Culculus subjects at the University. I have since been able to teach and simplify concepts to matriculants with passion.

My style of tutoring is mostly free of theoretical jargons except for the most key fundamentals necessary to allow the student to solve basic and advanced problems of mathematics and sciences. I also offer valuable shortcuts to allow the students to reduce the most abstract concept into easy as ABC concepts. My tutoring is offered in English. My target group is students from Grade 10-12 and University1st year Mathematics and Sciences. I am able to teach students at the lowest level of understanding aiming for a pass and those at the pass level aiming for distinctions. Marks improvement is guaranteed all the time.
