About ShuTing
I teach Mathematics because I genuinely enjoy working with students and guiding them through their learning journey. It is especially rewarding to see students grow in confidence, develop a clearer understanding of concepts, and gradually build an interest in the subject. I strive to make lessons engaging and approachable, helping students not only improve academically but also develop a more positive and motivated attitude towards Mathematics.

Teaching Methodology: My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding while equipping students with the skills needed to perform well in examinations.
Structured and Interactive Lessons: Lessons are carefully structured to introduce concepts progressively, reinforce understanding through discussion, and consolidate learning through targeted practice. I encourage students to ask questions freely and maintain an open learning environment where difficult concepts can be clarified thoroughly.
Targeted Practice and Exam Preparation: Students receive customised practice questions based on their areas of weakness. We work through past-year and school examination questions to identify common question patterns and develop effective answering strategies.
Consistent Revision and Reinforcement: Regular revision ensures students retain key concepts across topic. This helps build connections between topics and strengthens long-term understanding.
Communication with Parents: I maintain open communication with parents and provide updates on the student’s progress, areas of improvement, and strategies to support their learning.
