About Masibulele Shaun

I have been teaching mathematics both independently and high school (to secondary learners) for over 15 years. I have a Bachelor of Education with majors in Mathematics and Sciences. My education journey started in tutoring for NGOs groups in Khayelitsha and culminated in its formalization through the University of the Western Cape in 2009.

About the lesson

Our lessons are learner-centered, mostly digital, innovative, and make use of the latest mathematics applications to enrich learning activity and knowledge/concept development. I believe that once a student develops a routine that helps manage their mathematics workload, the confidence to work through the solution's problems, our work as teachers has been done sufficiently.

Through Masibulel I have learned that Mathematics goes beyond just writing and solving equations and algebraic expressions in class but you can use mathematics as a problem-solving tool in the complex world that we live in.
