About Maria
Hello, and welcome! I'm Maria, a mathematics PhD candidate and university lecturer from Pakistan, with 7 years of teaching experience across school, college and university levels.
I have taught over 1000+ online lessons, and my students describe me as patient, clear and well organized. One of my students improved from 60% to 98% in [subject/exam], and I would be glad to help you make progress too.
I teach university calculus, linear algebra, probability and statistics, math for machine learning, and school and exam math, including IB, IGCSE, GCSE, SAT, ACT, AP and GRE. Each lesson is prepared in advance and tailored to your level and goals, so you always know what you are working on and why.

Struggling with calculus, linear algebra or statistics? I help students go from "I don't get it" to "I can solve this on my own."
I believe math becomes easy when you understand why it works, not just how to follow the steps. In every lesson I start from the basics and build up gradually, so no step feels random. We solve examples together, then you try similar problems yourself while I guide you. I use visual explanations, real-life examples and plenty of practice, and if a topic doesn't click, I explain it another way until it does. Before each lesson I prepare material based on your goals, your level and your upcoming exams, so your time is used well.
Lessons usually last 50-60 minutes. This gives us time to review the previous topic, learn something new, and practice. I'm flexible if you prefer shorter or longer sessions.
