About Damon
Completing a PhD in Cosmology at the University of Michigan taught me that even the most difficult math problems rely on simple foundational truths. I have worked with 363 students over my 9 years of teaching to simplify topics like linear algebra and mensuration.
My approach relies on Vedic math techniques and mental math to build speed without sacrificing accuracy. It is helpful to integrate SAT and ACT math prep into our regular sessions to keep the work relevant. Helping students solve geometry and homework problems with confidence is honestly the best part of my day.

A math problem sits on the screen and we look for the most elegant way to dismantle it together. Every lesson includes a homework module assigned to verify that the specific problem solving strategies we discussed actually stick. My background in high level research informs the way I explain complex concepts to my students.
With 9 years of experience, I know exactly where the common pitfalls lie and how to help students avoid them entirely. You will leave these sessions feeling capable and prepared for any exam.
