About Rory
I have a Math BA from TAMU-CC and my teaching certificates since 2024. I have 2 years of math tutoring experience from Mathnasium and I am currently teaching High School for my first year. I do my best to teach math in a fun and understanding way for students. I am also able to teach different ways to help make the student understand. Each student learns differently and understanding it helps find ways for your student to understand.

-Teaching method will be a mixture of student-led/teacher-led with asking questions to the student to help them understand the concept by clearing any misunderstanding of the concept. -Have students do a warm-up of the concept and have it start off the lesson following some examples, practice problems and write what they have learned. -I tend to make math as fun as possible for all ages by using examples they might see in their day-to-day life. For example, if the student likes to play tennis, I will find ways to make connections to tennis in the lesson. -The lessons are able to be for any age, grade level, and any class. It just depends on what the student needs and I am able to make adjustments.

Rory is an excellent tutor! I needed help with raising my math TSIA2 scores and Rory did just that. He was able to assess my strengths & weaknesses and create lessons from that. Rory explains the process of each formula, guides you through it, as well as tricks to solve problems easier. Overall, Rory is good for those struggling to grasp math concepts.
