About Christopher
I hold an MNeuro in Neuroscience, where my advanced research examined olfactory stimuli in addiction and brought together biology, electrochemistry and psychology. This interdisciplinary work strengthened my ability to understand complex scientific systems and communicate them clearly. I now work in health marketing, translating detailed scientific concepts for general audiences, which has refined my ability to explain challenging ideas with accuracy and clarity. I want to teach because I value helping students reach a point where their understanding feels secure, coherent and genuinely their own. Supporting that development and seeing students gain confidence in how they think and write is something I find meaningful and worthwhile.

My Masters of Neuroscience taught me that impactful learning comes from genuine understanding, not memorising ‘the headlines’ for short-term recall. I focus on helping students see the bigger picture and how topics connect across the syllabus rather than isolation. This approach builds real confidence and prepares them for whatever question the exam throws their way in knowing what to write and why. Lessons are typically an hour and are suited to GCSE and A-Level Biology and Psychology students across exam boards. For those who want clarity, understanding and the confidence to effectively express that understanding in exams.
