- My ideal teaching methodology contains various key elements such as (1) Conceptual understanding, which means I focus on understanding the "why " behind mathematical concepts rather than memorizing procedures. (2) Active Learning: I engage my students through hands-on activities, group work, and discussions. I encourage them to explore and discover mathematical principles. - A typical lesson plan components: (1) Objective: I clearly define what the students should know or be able to do by the end of the lesson. (2) Materials Required: I provide all the required resources such as my notes, lesson and worksheets. (3) Introduction: (a) Engagement: I start with a brief activity or question to grab students' attention and introduce the topic. (b) Review: I quickly review the previous material that is relevant to the new lesson. (4) Instruction: I properly explain step by step and demonstrate how to solve a problem. (5) Independent practice: I believe that students can do better when they do it by themselves, so this is why I give them tasks to work on independently and then I monitor the performance. (6) Closure and Reflection: I summarize the main points of the lesson and reflect on what went well and ask them what could be improved for future lessons.
