About Jennifer
I moved to Finland with my son to help my parents run a husky tour park. In Finland children don't go to school until they are 7, so I home schooled my son for three years. My favourite thing to teach was religious studies and history. When I returned to the UK three years later I decided to retrain as a teacher. I wanted to teach religious studies, but with religious studies being steadily phased out and being replaced with ethics, I decided to do a joint degree in history and theology and ethics. I found I enjoyed learning about the history of religion much more than the ethics and so I chose to carry on my education by doing a masters in history. I am currently completing my teacher training qualification.

I follow the national curriculum, but throw in interesting people, facts & events along the way to make history and religious studies more fun. Lessons can be 30mins to 1hr in length and are for students 11+ I have a BA Hons degree in History and Theology & Ethics and a Masters degree in History. My specialism is social history, with a focus on poverty.
