About Logan

I'm passionate about learning and self-improvement and try to further my abilities in various skills, while building my general aptitude for learning. I always enjoy helping anyone who asks me for help, and sharing my knowledge and strategies for improving. Teaching and tutoring allow me to help others follow in my footsteps to improve.

About the lesson

I have Bachelors, Honours, and Masters degrees from the University of Auckland, specialising in pure maths and mathematical logic.

I worked as a tutor at Numberworks'nWords while I was in high school, and as a teaching assistant and tutor for the University of Auckland throughout my studies.

I am happy to give lessons of any reasonable length (at least half an hour) to high school or university students for mathematics.

I believe learning by solving exercises is by far the most effective method to improve at mathematics. Lessons will comprise discussing thought process and approach to problems, and what we can do to refine the student's intuition to quickly and accurately solve problems of any kind.
