About Claire
With eight years of experience and a Master’s degree in vocal performance, I am deeply committed to helping students discover and refine their unique voices. My teaching philosophy emphasizes healthy technique, artistic expression, and building confidence both in and out of the studio. I create a supportive and encouraging space where students feel comfortable exploring their potential. My background includes extensive training in breath control, vocal placement, and performance skills, allowing me to offer well-rounded instruction. I focus on developing not only technical proficiency but also emotional connection to the music. Whether preparing for auditions, performances, or personal growth, I tailor lessons to meet each student’s goals. I work with singers of all ages and skill levels, from beginners learning the basics to advanced vocalists seeking to expand their range and versatility. I provide detailed feedback and personalized exercises to help students overcome challenges and continually improve. My lessons are designed to be engaging, motivating, and effective. For me, teaching singing is more than just technique—it’s about empowering students to express themselves fully and confidently. Seeing my students grow as artists and individuals is incredibly rewarding, and I am dedicated to supporting their vocal journey every step of the way.

Lessons begin by focusing on foundational vocal techniques, including breath control, pitch accuracy, and proper vocal placement. Students learn exercises to strengthen their vocal cords and improve tone quality. Emphasis is placed on developing healthy singing habits to ensure longevity and avoid strain.
As students progress, lessons incorporate advanced techniques such as vocal dynamics, phrasing, and emotional expression. Performance skills, including stage presence and microphone technique, are introduced to build confidence in live settings. Repertoire is selected to challenge and inspire, tailored to individual musical interests and goals.
Each lesson is customized to meet the student’s needs, whether preparing for auditions, improving technique, or exploring different musical styles. Regular feedback and practice assignments support steady growth and skill refinement. The approach balances technical development with creative expression to keep learning engaging.
Lessons cater to all levels, from beginners to experienced singers, fostering a supportive environment that encourages risk-taking and artistic growth. The ultimate goal is to help students develop a versatile, confident voice and a lifelong passion for singing.
