Hello! My name is Kiev Kelvin, and I'm a professional portrait photographer with over 6 years of experience. I've worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds, from families and couples to models and celebrities. My passion for photography started when I was a teenager and has grown into a successful career.
I'm thrilled to be able to share my knowledge and experience with others through Superprof. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing my students develop their skills and achieve their goals.
When I'm not behind the camera or teaching, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family.
I'm dedicated to providing a professional, supportive, and engaging learning experience for all of my students. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced photographer looking to refine your skills, I'm here to help you achieve your goals and develop your own unique style and vision. As a portrait photography tutor, my teaching style is centered around hands-on, practical learning. I believe that the best way to learn photography is by doing it, so I'll provide you with plenty of opportunities to practice your skills during our lessons. I'll also share my own experiences and techniques to help you improve your craft. I use a mix of demonstrations, exercises, and practical assignments to help you develop your skills, and I provide personalized feedback and constructive criticism to help you improve.
In a typical lesson, we'll start with an overview of the fundamentals of portrait photography, including lighting, composition, and posing. I'll then provide a demonstration of the techniques we'll be working on during the lesson, and we'll practice together. We'll work through practical exercises to help you master each skill, and I'll provide personalized feedback and guidance along the way. By the end of the lesson, you'll have a solid understanding of the technique we've covered and will be able to apply it to your own portrait photography.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my extensive experience as a professional portrait photographer. I have a deep understanding of the technical aspects of photography, as well as the creative aspects of capturing a subject's unique personality and expression.
