About Carlota
I was born in Spain and lived there for about 16 years. For the last few years, I have been studying abroad. I decided to complete my undergraduate studies (double degree in psychology and modern languages: Spanish) in the United States. I am enrolled in a master's program in the UK in developmental psychology.
I enjoy helping others with Spanish. I understand firsthand the difficulty of learning another language and the challenges and obstacles one can encounter.
I enjoy helping others, as much as I can, to develop their confidence with the language.

I am originally from Spain but have lived in the United States and England these past years. While studying my undergraduate degree I started working as a Spanish tutor in my university's world languages department. I Provided assistance to students enrolled in Spanish courses in-person and virtually. As part of my work I assisted with writing guidance, reading comprehension, and grammar review, as well as exam preparation.
I like to think of my teaching style as flexible. I try at first to get an understanding of the student's needs with the subject, their learning style, and then develop a plan for the tutoring session.
I can support students from primary all the way to undergraduate/post-graduate studies.
