About Julia
I have been working at Bijlesnetwerk since 2015, where I have already coached many students with Physics, Mathematics and Economics. Some of them for a number of months / years structurally, others I only helped with preparing for a test or final exam. I also taught at the Stedelijk Gymnasium in Haarlem to help fourth graders in a summer school program with exact subjects. In 2018 I went to South Africa to give group lessons on what is involved in setting up a business and in February this year I traveled to Brazil to mentor children with English. I have been able to make many students happy and I also really enjoy teaching the lessons. I am happy to transfer this enthusiasm to my students!

My name is Julia and I have been giving individual lessons in Mathematics, Physics & Economics for 5 years now. I have completed a Bachelor in Beta-Gamma with a major in Economics and a minor in Physics & Mathematics, which means I can help you with all subjects. During the first lessons I immerse myself in your background, preference for teaching method and way of thinking. In this way I adapt the lessons exactly to your needs. I think it is important that there is a pleasant atmosphere during the lessons and that you feel free and at ease. I give both online lessons and lessons at your or me (Mercatorplein) home in Amsterdam. For the online lessons I use the Miro platform, which many students already like. Most lessons are one-on-one, but if you would like tutoring with a friend, this is also possible (with group discount).

Julia heeft mijn broertje niet alleen de kennis, maar ook interesse in wiskunde gegeven. Hij vindt het nu zelfs leuk en dat had niemand gedacht! Super bedankt Julia. Als iemand het kan, dan jij wel!
