About Shivi

I took up learning the Spanish language a few years ago as I used to travel a lot, I was floored by learning the depth and beauty of the Hispanic culture. What started as a hobby became my passion. I love watching Spanish series, movies on Netflix and hearing podcasts on Spotify

I hold C1 certification (Effective Operational Proficiency or simply Advanced Spanish) and DELE B2 Certified (Diploma en Español como Lengua Extranjera). I have a near-native level of proficiency

In the summer of 2025 I was selected for a prestigious scholarship to study Literature and History in Spain from The University of La Rioja in Logroño, with an academic focus on cultural analysis, historical context, and European literary traditions which helped me engage in cross-cultural academic research and multilingual coursework

About the lesson

I deliver engaging and interactive lessons focused on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, and cultural aspects of the Spanish language. I also use a variety of teaching tools such as online platforms, worksheets, quizzes to enhance learning.

I have students from all types of school boards including International Baccalaureate, Cambridge, IGCSE and the CBSE. During my time as a Spanish tutor, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students ranging from middle school learners to high school students.
