About Velma
"The faint glow of a terminal screen is where I spend most of my time debugging statistical models. I have taught 64 students how to break down exam technique and master confidence intervals through hands-on practice.
My 13 years of experience ensure that we focus on the practical application of statistical inference and probability distributions. Sampling methods are essential. I also teach chi-square tests and hypothesis testing using R for statistics to bridge the gap between abstract theory and real results. "Do you ever wonder how to interpret complex data sets without losing the core narrative? Using my Georgia Tech Master of Science background and 13 years of classroom experience, I break down sampling methods into repeatable steps. We will examine how probability distributions function in real scenarios, which is honestly the most effective way to grasp these concepts. Working through hypothesis testing in R for statistics feels much more intuitive when you understand the underlying mathematics behind the output.
