About Denis
I studied Computer Science at ITIS JC Maxwell in Nichelino (TO), strongly passionate about programming at every stage: from design to development, debugging and software maintenance. I continued my studies at the Polytechnic of Turin, a period during which I also worked in several areas, including Android app development and Industrial Automation. After a three-year, master's degree and high-level apprenticeship, at the multinational company SPEA in Volpiano, I wrote my thesis at the private ISMB institute, which deals with research, putting into practice the knowledge of Image Processing and Machine Learning acquired during the studies. After a multi-year career in the field of IT consulting, which made me touch more fields and different software layers, I specialized in Big Data.

My method derives from the high school period, in which, through my passion for computer science subjects, I tried to simplify the comprehension of the topics to my less passionate classmates. What I do is explain with practical examples, based on study and experience, both abstract and concrete concepts, which concern programming, establishing with the students (who often become friends) a friendly, frank and "down to earth" contact. I try to concentrate on the tranquility of the student, who at a certain point realizes that he understands and knows how to "play" with concepts, as he never did before. This is because, in my opinion, computer science is often explained as a too technical and complex subject, instead of emphasizing its creative aspects.
