About Sebastian
I've served as a Lead Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley for ~2 years, creating lesson plans, reviewing material and online sources, and delivering content in lecture, group activities, and individual tutoring.
Through my experience and interactive teaching style, I regularly received above-average teaching reviews from over 400 students over my time teaching.
My passion for public health and biology education has a foundation in working in public health labs, volunteering for health policy, and being part of educational outreach groups.

Tutoring Sessions begin with tailored review from last session and focus on weak spots while reinforcing each student's strengths (25%). We can work through creative activities to build new understandings of current material (50%), and finish with a quiz and connection to past themes (25%). You'll not only learn each lesson, but understand it as part of a larger whole.
In past teaching, I have crafted long-term lesson plans for students at the college level for personal learning or to augment fixed curricula from regular coursework!
I can teach high school and college students learning about / majoring in Public Health, Biology, Environmental Science, etc.
