About Abby
My day job involves working as a Clinical Pharmacist.
For the last 2 years, I have also been working as a private tutor; I work as a tutor at Regent’s Learning Centre since April 2017. I have delivered classes for students one-on-one and also in a classroom setting on topics ranging from Biology, Chemistry and Maths (GCSE and A Levels).
My degree, Master in Pharmacy (MPharm) and my current job in hospital sector serves as a great platform to help me teach science and maths as it provides me with practical experience in my subjects.
My main aim is to keep students focused in the tutoring hour and set them realistic goals which they work on even after class. I encourage, motivate and aid my students to understand and reach their full academic potential.

My teaching methodology involves:
- Identifying learning needs and expectations - this involves looking at strong and weak topics, establishing syllabus, exam dates.
- Devising comprehensive lesson plans, custom curriculums, homework and a structured timetable tailored to the students’ learning style.
- Review student’s progress through regular “Mock tests”, “End of Chapter” tests and weekly assessments.
- Prepare students for their exams.
- Enhance learning experience through getting organised with Google Drive, Google Calendar.
