About Vinay
Growing up, I was always fascinated by the way my mother, as assistant professor was able to explain complex ideas and concepts in simple, relatable terms just like Richard Feynman. They had a unique talent for breaking down complicated subjects into easily digestible pieces, and it was something that always stuck with me.
As I grew older and pursued my education in computer science, I found myself drawn to teaching others. I realized that I had a natural ability to come up with analogies and examples that helped people understand difficult concepts more easily. I enjoyed seeing the look of understanding on people's faces as they grasped a concept that had previously eluded them.
It was then that I began to think about the impact I could have as a teacher. I wanted to inspire and empower others to learn and grow, just as my mother and Richard Feynman had done for me. I knew that teaching would allow me to use my skills to help others achieve their goals and reach their full potential. This is when I spent nearly 6 years teaching/mentoring students across the world via udacity and also thinkful. During the pandemic, i could feel I was having some impact on someone who desperately needed help. All this experience gave me a sense of purpose and I think it helped me become the person who I am today!
Whether I am explaining complex algorithms or helping students develop a growth mindset, I am driven by the desire to inspire and empower others to learn, grow, and succeed. I am grateful for the inspiration that my mother and Richard Feynman provided me, and I hope to pay it forward by inspiring the next generation of learners.

My approach to tutoring in the areas of computer science, data science, AI, and machine learning is centered around creating an engaging and interactive learning experience that incorporates both technical and mindset-building elements.
Firstly, I believe in a collaborative learning environment where the students are active participants in the learning process. I start by assessing the students' prior knowledge and understanding of the subject matter, and then building on that foundation with new concepts and material. Throughout the course, I encourage students to ask questions, participate in discussions, and engage in group activities that reinforce the learning objectives.
Secondly, I focus on developing a positive mindset and competitive spirit among my students. I believe that developing a positive attitude towards challenges and a mindset that embraces growth and continuous learning is crucial for success in their relevant fields. I encourage students to be proactive, take initiative, and maintain a growth mindset throughout the learning process.
Thirdly, I utilize a variety of teaching techniques and resources to cater to different learning styles. I incorporate visual aids, hands-on exercises, group projects, and real-world examples to help students understand complex concepts and apply them in practical situations. I also use technology and interactive tools to keep the classes engaging and interactive.
Finally, I believe that building a strong relationship with my students is crucial for their success. I make myself approachable and available for my students, whether through regular office hours or online communication. I encourage my students to ask questions, seek feedback, and provide suggestions for improvement.
Overall, my approach to tutoring is centered around creating an engaging and interactive learning experience that incorporates both technical and mindset-building elements. With my expertise in computer science, data science, AI, machine learning, and positive mindset, I am confident in my ability to help students achieve their goals and succeed in these fields.
Typical length of a lesson would be 1-1.5 hrs and can be for varied agegroups.
