About Kristian

I work based on the motto that everyone can learn mathematics, it's just a question of the right teaching. Therefore, it is my mission to adapt the teaching and my explanations so that it suits the student. I am patient, kind, and most of all, I genuinely want to see my students improve.
I have 4 years of experience with individual teaching and homework help. I've had all types of students, and I've had just as many unique approaches to teaching. If my students do not understand my explanations, then it is me who changes something, not my students. My students are in focus, and I am so happy when they move forward.

About the lesson

I have taught at all levels from 1st grade to 3rd grade. I go to great lengths to adapt the teaching to the individual student, speak the same language and use examples from my students' everyday life. I am of the belief that it is easier to understand mathematical concepts if you can relate it to yourself. A typical lesson will be divided into two parts. One where we talk about any topics where we need to improve. And one where we start directly from the student's homework.

Under no circumstances do I want my students to become "robots" who can solve mathematical problems if they are formulated in a certain way. Instead, I want to help with a mathematical understanding, the ability to see mathematics everywhere, and thereby also see how valuable it can be.
