About Zoe

A passionate and dedicated Chinese language teacher, specialising in Mandarin and Cantonese, with a strong academic foundation from Peking University and the LSE. Chinese is not only a language but a gateway to a rich cultural heritage spanning thousands of years. Through my enthusiasm and interactive teaching style, I create engaging, theme-based lessons where students can explore both the language and the culture in a fun and meaningful way. My goal is to make every class inspiring, accessible, and tailored to each student’s learning journey.

About the lesson

I teach Chinese using both Pinyin (拼音) and Zhuyin (注音), covering traditional (繁體字) and simplified characters (简体字). With experience teaching students from international and English-speaking backgrounds, I provide clear bilingual support. My lessons combine self-designed exercises and games with materials from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and international schools, ensuring engaging, well-rounded practice in listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Each class is tailored to different ages and levels, with lessons typically lasting 45 minutes to 2 hours.
