About Gustavo
My goal is always to focus the subject on the students' individual needs, trying to detect the difficulties presented by them and approach them from a scientific rather than normative view. My classes focus on approaches based on sociolinguistics and cognitive linguistics, aiming at understanding phenomena from their basic nature.

I have a degree in Linguistics and Portuguese Language, with a master's degree in Linguistics from the University of São Paulo, having developed research on the development of Brazilian Portuguese in the 19th century. I have experience with private tutoring and writing classes and favor an individualized approach that rejects repetition and empty memorization.
