About Kim
Hello! I am a dedicated and experienced Chinese language teacher with a passion for education and cultural exchange. With a master's degree in International Chinese Education and over six years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of helping students from all backgrounds—whether in primary and secondary schools, universities, or workplace programmes—develop their Chinese language skills. As a former Confucius Institute teacher, I have seen firsthand how learning a new language can open doors to new opportunities. I love sharing not only the language but also the rich history and culture of China, making every lesson meaningful and engaging. My goal is to inspire confidence in my students by offering a supportive, professional, and structured learning environment tailored to their individual needs. I specialise in working with beginners and students preparing for the HSK exam. My students have consistently excelled, many earning top scores. I believe that with the right guidance and motivation, anyone can master Chinese. I look forward to supporting you on your language learning journey!

I specialise in teaching Chinese to beginners and students preparing for the HSK exam. With a master's degree in International Chinese Education and over six years of hands-on teaching experience, I have developed a systematic and effective approach tailored to these learners. My lessons focus on building a solid foundation, covering essential pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar through clear, step-by-step explanations. For HSK-focused students, I provide targeted training that covers all test components, including listening, reading, writing, and speaking. I use proven strategies to help students master key exam techniques, ensuring they feel confident and prepared. Many of my students have achieved outstanding results, including perfect scores. Each 60-minute session is interactive and engaging, designed to maximise learning through practical exercises, real-life scenarios, and cultural insights. Whether you are starting from zero or working towards passing the next HSK level, I provide the professional guidance you need to succeed.

I had the privilege of learning Chinese under the guidance of Miss Jin, and I can confidently say that her teaching transformed my learning experience. As a complete beginner, I was nervous about learning a new language, but her patient and engaging approach made every lesson enjoyable and rewarding. She has a talent for explaining complex grammar and pronunciation in a simple, easy-to-understand manner. Thanks to her structured lessons and encouragement, I passed my HSK exam with full marks! I highly recommend Miss Jin to anyone looking to learn Chinese!
