About Qi
I have seven years of tutoring experience and have worked with students of all ages (as young as 5 years old to college level). My speciality is essay and thesis writing and English Language Arts. I also tutor K-12 common core subjects (Math, English, Science, and History) and beginner to intermediate level Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. My students have raised your standardized test scores by more than 20%. They have also been admitted to university after successful development of college personal statements.

My name is Qi (Chi); I am an experienced K-12 tutor with a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals. I am personable and patient with my students, and attentive to their unique needs and specifications. My method of instruction usually consists of reviewing the material, going through problems together, and then testing for understanding. In terms of my education, I have a master's degree in Nonprofit Management from The New School and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from Bard College.
