About Wayne
Medicinal chemist with over a decade of academic and industry experience. Specialized in total chemical synthesis & purification, analytical instrumentation, natural product extraction, laboratory design, and education.
Throughout high school and university, I worked as a tutor for various private companies and public campuses. During my tenure at both university and graduate school, I served as an instructor for inorganic and organic chemistry laboratory courses, and as a lead technician for botanical and chemical research laboratories.
My career since then has been centered around creating educational content and training a wide variety of people across a number of industries. I believe that being a quality instructor means more than just mastering the subject material; it also involves compassion for each individual's preferred learning style, and the ability to provide relatable context to make the material relevant and engaging.
