About Lila
With over 3 years of teaching experience and a BSc Chemistry with Industrial Experience, I specialize in biochemistry and its applications in medicine and biotechnology. My lessons cover protein structure, enzyme kinetics, metabolic pathways, and nucleic acids. I have worked extensively with pre-med students, biology majors, and aspiring pharmaceutical professionals. Lessons are designed to connect complex concepts with real-world applications in healthcare and biotechnology. Students explore how enzymes drive reactions, how proteins fold, and how metabolic pathways maintain life. I emphasize understanding over memorization, helping learners grasp mechanisms and processes deeply. Interactive examples and case studies make abstract ideas tangible. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. My teaching links chemistry to health, pharmaceuticals, and research. Each session builds confidence and practical understanding. Learners develop a solid foundation for advanced studies or medical careers. Together, we explore the chemistry of life and its impact on health. Science becomes meaningful, engaging, and empowering.

The teaching approach emphasizes understanding chemistry at its core. Lessons cover physical chemistry, quantum mechanics, chemical thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics. Students explore how mathematics underpins chemical theory and models. DIY Biologists and Science Fiction Thinkers are guided to develop their unique perspective and analytical voice. The methodology is gentle and reflective, encouraging thoughtful learning and deep insight. Complex theories are broken into manageable steps with clear examples. Students discover connections between equations, molecules, and physical phenomena. I encourage curiosity, reasoning, and mindful exploration. Lessons include problem-solving exercises and conceptual discussions. Mistakes are treated as part of the learning process. Each session nurtures confidence, clarity, and independent thinking. Chemistry is presented as an elegant and logical framework. Learners leave with both understanding and inner confidence. Together, we explore chemistry in a calm and meaningful way.
