About Astha
Hello! I'm Astha, an experienced and passionate Biology educator, currently pursuing my PhD in Forensic Science. With a strong background in both education and research, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep love for the subject to each lesson. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students at various levels, from high school to college and adult learners, always striving to foster a deeper understanding and curiosity about the world of Biology. My academic journey as a researcher in forensic science allows me to provide real-world insights into how Biology is applied in fields like crime investigation, human biology, and more. As a professional teacher, I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student feels heard and motivated. My goal is not just to help students understand biological concepts but to spark their passion for the subject, showing them how it’s relevant to their lives. As an online Biology teacher, my approach is centered around making the subject engaging, accessible, and relevant to everyday life. I incorporate interactive lessons using multimedia tools like animations and diagrams to help students visualize complex biological concepts. Active learning is at the core of my teaching, where I encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through discussions and quizzes. I also provide hands-on learning experiences through virtual labs and real-life case studies to deepen students' understanding. Each class follows a structured format that begins with an overview of the topic, followed by a detailed lesson, interactive sections, and a real-world connection to make the content more relatable. I end the class with a review and Q&A session to ensure any doubts are cleared. My teaching is student-centered, adapting to the needs of different learners, and I use technology to enhance engagement through live polls and group discussions/ individual fun lesson plans. Ultimately, my goal is to make Biology exciting, applicable, and accessible to all learners.
